A Year In Review | 2017

I spent a couple of todays going through every single photo we took in 2017 to prepare a blog of our favorite images + moments and it brought me to tears thinking about how lucky we are to be able to call all theses amazing people our clients, and this our job. We get to witness, experience and capture such special moments in people's lives. Moments that will outlive us by hundreds of years. The images we take represent people loving people; a grandparent hugging the bride, the bride slipping into her dress as her mother zips it up, a father standing quietly with his daughter before he walks her down the aisle to give her away, a tearful groom looking into the eyes of his beloved, laughter as friends tell funny stories during the reception, a time of stillness where the bride and groom are able to hold each other quietly in the landscapes of nature as the sun sets and the wind embraces them, all of these different forms of love that encompass the true beauty of this job. Tiny little moments that remind us that the true beauty of being human is our capability to experience love in so many different forms and the ability to share it with others.
I honestly had a really hard time narrowing down these images, they all mean so much to me. I originally selected 1,551 images that I love from 2017, so you can only imagine how hard it was to narrow them down. While creating this blog post I quickly realized I forgot to do a "best of" 2016 post and asked you guys if adding some images from that year to this post was something you wanted to see or not, and everyone told me  "yes!! better late then never!" So majority of these images are from 2017, and a select few are from 2016.
Thank you to every single person who has hired us and invited us to witness your joy and love, you guys are the reason why we can create. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
